"Wave Ballet"
Behind a gilded veil of sea smoke, Lake Superior appeared to be practicing a ballet. At times the fog was too dense to see the waves, but one could hear the water's movement. When the sea smoke thinned briefly, the cresting waves shimmered in the rising sun. The Great Lake was quite graceful as she sculpted the shorelines and painted a surreal scene.
