The Sphinx Moth is often mistaken for a hummingbird as it hovers over flowers with rapidly beating wings. Since we allowed part of our back yard to naturalize into a meadow, there has been an increase of interesting pollinators to enjoy and photograph. <br />
<br />
While dandelions are often viewed as a nuisance, they are an excellent source of nectar and pollen for beneficial insects, including honey bees. They're also a food source for other wildlife.
